Meet The Neils

We officially became the Neil Family on November 2nd, 2002 when we got married in Fredericksburg, Texas after several years of courtship. Following our Hawaiian honeymoon, we settled down in Grapevine, Texas with Rick’s loyal (but not very bright) dog, Ruger, and an assortment of tropical fish.

In the Spring of 2004, our lives were forever changed for the better with the arrival of our first daughter, Lindsay Marie. She's a little dynamo of perpetual motion, who loves to talk. And talk. And talk some more. Not a day goes by that she doesn’t make us laugh out loud. Some days she makes us cry out loud, too.

Having always wanted two children (what in the world were we thinking?), we were thrilled in the Summer of 2006 when The Stork brought us another bundle of joy--our second daughter, Rachel Nicole. She's the empathetic one -- always the first to offer comfort when you stub your toe or bonk your head. She spends most of her time trying to keep up with Lindsay, but she's an altogether different person. Even so, she undeniably shares her big sister's special ability to make us laugh and to make us cry... often enough at the same time!

Despite the loss of our beloved Ruger in August 2006, we now think of our family as complete. We are truly blessed. And no matter how much we enjoy our two girls, we’ve decided to stop at two. No, seriously. We’re done. It’s officially open season on storks at our house.
